Oronzio De Nora Foundation was officially registered on May 25, 1998 by Ministry of University and Technological Scientific Research Decree (M.U.R.S.T.) published in the Official Gazzette of the Italian Republic on June 15, 1998.
After the passing away of Founding Member Niccolò De Nora, Michele and Federico on September 22, 2005 together with all Board Members approved to change its name into Oronzio and Niccolò De Nora Foundation.
